Elsa Science has recently been awarded funding from our Competence Enhancement call. The funds will be used to strengthen regulatory expertise in preparation for a US market launch.
Christoffer Lindhe lives with three prostheses and runs the globally represented company Lindhe Xtend. He sees many possible improvements that can be made to prostheses on a daily basis and sought out Linda Nyden, project co-ordinator at Smart Textiles, University of Borås, to discuss his idea in more detail.

Patient collaboration was the theme for this week's Innovation Hive, which this week attracted around thirty discussion-hungry participants. For an hour we gained increased insight into what patient participation can be and then the discussion continued in smaller "hives".
The first recipients have been announced of this year's Call for Funding Applications under Competence Enhancement for Small Businesses. Stockholm-based Zenicor Medical Systems AB will receive funding for their MDR adaptation of systems for digitized arrhythmia diagnostics.

Today several of us from Medtech4Health participated in Vinnova's workshop on gender mainstreaming. The purpose was partly to help those of us from different SIPs to understand Vinnova's and Horizon Europe's gender mainstreaming mission and goals, and how we can translate these into our own operation. And partly the purpose was to give inspiration from other SIPs in order to move forward in our gender mainstreaming.
