Innovation Procurement platform (IPP)

  • The Innovation Procurement Platform helps public authorities, policy makers, researchers and other stakeholders exchange information on public procurement of innovation. It includes a procurement forum and a resource centre.

Institute for Healthcare improvement (IHI)

  • The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) brings safety and quality awareness to millions of people, accelerates learning and systematic improvement of care, develops solutions for previously unimaginable challenges, and mobilizes healthcare systems, communities, regions and nations to reduce injuries and deaths. It works in partnership with the growing IHI network to find new ways to improve the health of individuals and populations.

Eureka

  • Eureka is a collaborative network of 41 member countries and 3 associate countries (South Africa, South Korea and Canada) created to promote co-operation between companies and researchers in Europe on market-related research and technological development. The aim of Eureka is to strengthen the competitiveness of European industry on the world market, with projects involving companies, institutions and public authorities from at least two member countries.

EIT Health

  • EIT Health is Europe’s largest collaborative organisation in life science innovation. It is active in entrepreneurship, education and multidisciplinary health innovation. In Northern Europe, EIT Health operates in Sweden, Denmark and Estonia, but also start-ups from Finland, Norway, Iceland and the Faroe Islands with links to EIT Health are welcome to apply to the accelerator programmes.  Horizon Europe

  • Horizon Europe – Framework Programme for Research and Innovation. Horizon Europe is the EU’s framework programme for research and innovation and runs from 2021 to 2027. Swedish companies, organisations and research institutions can apply for funding from the proposed €94 billion budget on the same terms as their counterparts in other EU countries.

    Horizon Europe will:

    •  strengthen the EU’s scientific and technological base, as well as the European Research Area
    • promote the EU’s innovation capacity, competitiveness and job creation
    • deliver on the issues that matter most to us all; maintain our socio-economic model and values

EU4Health

  • EU4Health aims to: Increase the EU’s preparedness for serious cross-border health threats by creating emergency stocks of medicines, medical equipment, etc. for use in the event of a crisis. Creating a preparedness force of health professionals and experts that can be mobilised to respond to cross-border crises across the EU. EU4Health is in the first instance the EU’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic and its health impact, and will constitute the largest ever European health programme in monetary terms.

The Public Health Agency

  • The Public Health Agency is the national contact point for the EU Health Programme, which means that it provides information on and disseminates the results of measures funded by the EU4 Health Programme. This programme replaces the previous health programme, which ran until 2020.
