Medtech Matchday – Conquering the World

The healthcare industry is facing challenges that require innovative solutions with access to innovative medical technology solutions – all in an international arena.

Join us on February 6, 12-18 pm, when large and small companies, academia and the public sector discuss the implementation of medical technology and the opportunities it provides for effective expansion in international markets.

The conference includes two sessions, the first of which is entitled ”Effective implementation – where the real needs of Healthcare meet the right solutions of Medtech”. The keynote for the session will be held by Professor David Lowe, Clinical Director for health innovation at the Scottish Health and Industry Partnership (SHIP). More speakers will be added but among those participating are Penilla Günther, founder of FOKUS Patient and President of the European Patient Safety Foundation, Göran Henriks, senior strategy consultant at Region Jönköping and Hanna Sjöström, Neola Medical.

Session number two is entitled ”Scale-up – what does it take?” and the keynote will be given by Magda Krakowiak, Director EIT Health Accelerator. Other speakers include Anna Bergstrand, PhD, Deeptech lead at Strategic area – Ecosystems for Innovative companies, Ana Isabel Gonzalez, Operational Manager at Innovation and International Projects Unit, Madrid Health Authority, Göran Larsson, R&D Director Region Västerbotten, and Magnus Björsne, CEO Bio Venture Hub Göteborg.

The day will end with a joint mingle hosted by Alfa Laval.
