Happy Summer Wishes from Medtech4Health
After an intense spring, it’s almost time for a well-deserved summer break. But first, we look forward to meeting you in Almedalen, where we are part of the Tillsammans meeting place.
This spring, we have, among other things, announced the winners of the Medtech4Health Innovation Award, awarded funding in the calls for Kompetensförstärkning i småföretag (Skills Enhancement in Small Enterprises) and IMPlementering av medicinteknik inom vård och omsorg (Implementation of Medical Technology in Health and Social Care). We have also participated in several events that have broadened our networks and contact areas, both nationally and internationally.
Several new handbooks, guides, and tools have been launched by nodes and strategic projects and are now available at Medtech Arena – all with the aim of supporting new projects to reach patient benefit as quickly as possible or improve various processes.
But we’re not stopping there – going forward, we will focus even more on spreading developed tools and methods that make it easier to adopt innovative medical technology in healthcare and social care. By sharing established knowledge and proven solutions, the program aims to contribute to a more sustainable, equitable, and resource-efficient healthcare system. We will continue to intensify our work with implementation and growth.
We are happy to welcome Sandra Kastås as our Communications Strategist and Head of Public Affairs. Sandra brings extensive experience in PR and political advocacy, and a passion for making complex issues understandable and engaging. Welcome to Medtech4Health!
We also welcome two new board members: Maria Tenje and Micael Juul Möller. A heartfelt thank you to our outgoing members, Joakim Söderberg and Ingela Nyström, for their valuable contributions to the program and to Swedish medtech.
We’ll see you again after the summer break as we continue, among other things, our highly appreciated seminar series Accelerera och leverera (Accelerate and Deliver), the Medical Technology Days, and much more.
Wishing you a wonderful summer!
Lena Strömberg and everyone in and around Medtech4Health
