Finals in the Health Data Sweden Hackathon
Don’t miss the Health Data Sweden Hackathon on March 18-20. Here, the teams focus on creating new digital solutions that coordinate multiple healthcare actors in the treatment of a multi-ill patient.
Health Data Sweden is one of the EU Commission’s digital innovation hubs for digital acceleration in health data. On March 18-20, Stockholm University and Karolinska Institutet are organizing a hackathon within the framework of the hub. The jury for the competition includes Lena Strömberg, Program Director for Medtech4Health.
– When we take on the challenges of the future of healthcare, an international perspective is important. EU-supported Health Data Sweden can facilitate the development and implementation of more medical technology innovations. It’s a little extra exciting when collaborations are born through a hackathon like this, says Lena Strömberg.
During the hackathon, the registered teams are faced with the task of creating a solution that best helps a multi-ill patient in contact with several healthcare providers. The task is to create a solution for coordinated care and nursing care regardless of the organization.
The goal of the competition is to contribute to the creation and testing of innovative solutions, models and standards for interoperability within electronic healthcare information systems. The aim is to achieve the implementation of a common conceptual model for the transfer of information between digital consultation platforms, medical technology systems and medical record systems.
