Providing financial support for innovation projects in medical technology is an important part of our activities. One tool is open calls for funds. Different calls have different purposes and target groups. Sometimes we specifically target healthcare, sometimes small businesses and sometimes collaborative projects.

In general, priority is given to:

• projects involving partners from several sectors of healthcare, i.e. collaborations between industry, academia, health and social care, and patients (users) and/or patient organisations
• projects that have commercial potential or are otherwise beneficial
• projects that put people first.
