Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Medtech4Health
This year, we have seen several inspiring results from Medtech4Health.
AIDA Data Hub continues to grow and is now a national resource used by researchers and clinical experts from over 45 countries. It shows how Swedish expertise in AI and image diagnostics can create value far beyond our borders.
One of our strategic projects, National Collaboration for the Implementation of 3D Printing in Healthcare, has led to the creation of a new non-profit association. This is an example of how
Medtech4Health can initiate efforts that continue to thrive even after the projects have been completed.
In the project portfolio, we see how more and more innovations are approaching implementation in Swedish healthcare and social care, and how companies that have participated in the programme are showing increased innovation capacity and stronger growth figures. This is clear evidence that long-term collaboration, evidence and needs-driven development make a difference.
But perhaps most importantly, during the year we have further strengthened our culture of collaboration, participation and generosity, which is crucial for creating real system change in Swedish medical technology.
Swedish medical technology is facing an exciting decade. Thanks to you, Medtech4Health is better equipped than ever to drive development forward. During our fourth phase, we will develop a roadmap for Swedish medical technology to create further patient and healthcare benefits, as well as growth.
Today, medical technology is the largest part of Sweden’s life science sector, accounting for over half of all companies. Together, we can continue to achieve results that make a difference for patients, relatives, companies, healthcare professionals and Sweden as a nation of innovation.
A big thank you to everyone who has contributed in various ways during the year: who has given your commitment, your time and energy in meetings and events, and in the development of tools and knowledge. A special thank you to our colleagues at the programme office, as well as the programme council, party representatives, advisory board and board of directors, who together have made another successful year possible.
